Target Students
The target participants for The Master of Science (MSc) in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Biotechnology (ELBT) program are mid-to-senior level professionals in the biotechnology industry, including:
• Startup founders
• Managers and executives in biotech companies
• Scientists and researchers transitioning to entrepreneurial roles
• Professionals in business development and product management
Admission Requirement
A bachelor's degree or above in Business, Engineering, Science, Medicine or other relevant disciplines
Additional Requirement
Applicants who have biotech industrial experience will have an advantage.

* Refers to scores in one single attempt only. Test at home option is not accepted. TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date.

Applicants are not required to present TOEFL or IELTS score if
- their first language is English, or
- they obtained the bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an institution where the medium of instruction was English.
Admission Details
Program Fee
The program fee is HK$250,000 for both the full-time and part-time modes. After an initial deposit of $50,000, the remaining balance is to be paid in 2 installments for both full-time mode and part-time mode.

Note:
- The fee stipulated above only covers a registered study period of 12 months and 24 months, for full-time and part-time mode, respectively.
- Students are required to pay HK$10,000 per credit if they take extra credit or stay in the program beyond the registered period covered by the nominal fee.
- Major intake of full-time mode is usually in the Fall term of every academic year, hence, the admission places available for the following Spring term would be very limited, and mainly for local students
Scholarships available to MSc (ELBT) students
1. Entrepreneurial Leadership in Biotechnology Scholarship#
Outstanding full-time and part-time local and non-local students admitted in the Fall semester will be considered for the Scholarship. Students being eligible for the Scholarship will be ranked by their academic results obtained from the Fall semester. Students who are able to meet the following conditions will be considered:
ii) having a Cumulative Grade Average of no less than 3.5, and
ii) having financial need with justifications
2. Admission Scholarship (for student(s) admitted in the Fall semester) #
Admission Scholarship will be offered to full-time and part-time local and non-local students admitted in the Fall Semester based on academic merit and relevant work, internship experience related to the field of biotechnology. Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, MSc (ELBT) program Office will select qualified students and inform the selected students in due course.

Accommodation Arrangement
- MSc (ELBT) program does NOT provide on-campus or off-campus accommodation to students. Students admitted to the program are required to arrange their own accommodation.
- Prospective students are advised to carefully consider the financial aspects associated with studying in Hong Kong, including accommodation costs.
