Introduction
The Master of Science (MSc) in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Biotechnology (ELBT) program will synergize with the existing Master of Science in Biotechnology (BIOT) program, and the Master of Science in Drug Regulatory Affairs and Policy (DRAP) program which was launched in September 2024. Together, these programs will position HKUST as a leading institution in biotechnology education, offering a comprehensive suite of programs that cover both the technical and entrepreneurial aspects of the industry. While the BIOT program emphasizes the scientific and technical aspects of biotechnology, and the DRAP program focuses on regulatory affairs and policy, the ELBT program focuses on entrepreneurial leadership and management training, creating a holistic ecosystem for biotech education at HKUST that aligns with the academic profile of the Division of Life Science.
